Our family has had an interest in antiques since my father was a young man. Our first antique store that we opened in Illinois whn I was ten was called Cabintiques. Just what is a cabintique? It could be an antique. It could be folk art. It could be art that looks good in a cabin or a country home. It could be a folk art antique that looks great in a cabin. For instance, a fish spearing decoy... This site will feature the artistic talents of the Stouffer family. Rebecca Stouffer has written, illustrated and self-published her own book titled, Soul's Garden from our home town of Ely, Minnesota. It is available by request. Rebecca has been selling her watercolor paintings in the form of originals, prints and greeting cards with great success. These can soon be found on this site as well.  Soul's Garden, by Rebecca Stouffer (my sister). This is a wonderful story book with equally beautiful watercolor illustrations by a very talented Ely resident. Cora, the main character, is named after Rebecca's Grandmother, as a tribute to the earthly legacy she left behind. The book begins with a poem written by my Grandmother, then leads the reader into Cora's journey, which spans the seasons in the world of nature and the soul. Cora tries to discover what is growing in her soul's garden.
